Summer is quickly approaching, which means it's almost booty shorts season. But is your behind ready for it? Meaning, have you found the perfect pair of shorts that make your butt looks amazing?
If you haven't, get excited: Levi's just came out with wedgie shorts that claim to have the same magical butt-boosting powers as their wedgie jeans.
The jeans are made with a specific fabric to separate your cheeks and give your behind a lift. And don't worry if you're not into showing a sliver of butt cheek. Levi's has the high-waisted shorts in longer, cuffed-styles, too. The brand now also has shorts in four different washes (the cut-off style is already nearly sold out). Here's what happened when six people gave them a try.
"Wearing shorts usually makes me feel nervous and insecure because putting your thighs out into the world is a little terrifying. But the wedgie shorts made me feel hot AF, like they're long enough so I don't feel like I'm going to accidentally moon half of New York, but they're short and tight enough to make my butt look incredible. They're a little stiff, but they'd probably break in if you wore them all the time (which I definitely would)."
"I definitely need to buy these shorts. I felt a bit of extra fabric in between my cheeks, but it lifts and separates to give more definition than I might have had otherwise. It's basically a Wonderbra for butts, sans padding."
"These wedgie shorts are to die for! I've
been seriously slacking in the working out/eating
healthy department, leaving me too self-conscious
to wear tight booty shorts. But I had no problem
strutting around the office in these babies.
With that being said, can I have these?"
"These shorts made me feel as confident as Beyoncé. Sadly, they did not turn me into Beyoncé."
"Levi's shorts are my favorite denim shorts to wear and have been since high school. Unfortunately, this particular style didn't do me any favors. I wanted a bubble butt but with these shorts, I think my bubble burst."
"The wedgie shorts weren't nearly as cheeky as I was expecting. TBH, which was surprising. When I first heard "wedgie shorts," I assumed they'd be cut waaaaaaaaay higher. I was into the way they made my butt look, but I'm not sure how different they look from regular high-waisted shorts. As someone whose also tried on the regular wedgie jeans, I felt like those added a lot more ~oomph~ to my flat little ass — kind of like a push-up bra for your butt. Seems like with wedgie shorts, there's less material to hoist and lift up your butt cheeks."
