FASHION: OMG! NIKE IS FINALLY RELEASING THE 'BACK TO THE FUTURE' SELF-LACING SNEAKERS!

Twenty-seven years after Marty McFly stepped into those self-lacing sneakers in Back to the Future II, Nike is releasing a real-life special edition version, and its lucky owners will be chosen through an online draw.
There are only 89 pairs of the Nike Mag, the "individually responsive" sneaker that adapts to the wearer's foot on its own. The number is a slight nod to 1989, the year Back to the Future II premiered.
All the proceeds earned from the shoe release will benefit the Michael J. Fox Foundation to research and develop a cure for Parkinson's Disease. Nike joined forces with the organization in 2011 and raised $10 million for Parkinson's research when they auctioned an initial version of the sneaker. Fox himself, who played McFly in the film, got his own pair last year.
You can try your chances for your own pair at nike.com/mag or on the Nike+ App. A $10 donation to the Michael J. Fox Foundation counts as one ticket, and there is no limit to the number of tickets a person can buy. The draw is open now and closes on Oct. 11. Winners will be announced on Oct. 17.
