Spotted not at Paris Fashion Week, but at Vancouver Fashion Week during the Lesley Hampton show, the look consists of lacing up dual plaits with ribbon as you would the waist-cinching garment.
Equal parts Renaissance era and 2016-friendly because as Rihanna's Marie-Antoinette-inspired Fenty x Puma collection confirmed, stars have reached peak corset obsession. Instagram is already all over it, naturally.
But let's face it, whether or not this look is going to blow up hangs on a Kardashian-Jenner endorsement. But considering that waist training and French braids are amongst their favorite things, we predict it's only a matter of time.
The corset braids trend is literally the waist trainer for your hair. It's a pretty way to dress up your braid, bringing all the attention to your face. A trend I would totally get behind.
