Meet the choker top: Part-turtleneck, part-halter, the shirt is everything you never knew you wanted.
Spotted on Solange Knowles, Gigi Hadid, Emily Ratajkowski, and the Jenner sisters, it would seem that much of Hollywood has already taken the
plunge (sorry, couldn't resist!) with this trend. Take note of how our favorite It-Girls wear it.
Selena Gomez doubles up on spring's hottest trends, teaming a cami dress with a thin scarf tied as a choker. Zara has a top that looks almost exactly the same, so stealing her style should be super easy. We love that it can be dressed up or down, depending on how fancy your bottoms are.
Leave it to Kylie Jenner to make the trend her own, choosing to wear her choker top backwards. Whether you follow her lead or wear it "properly," balance out the fitted crop with billowy culottes.
Gigi Hadid upgrades her uber-
distressed jeans with a choker blouse, a slick
white coat, and gray heels. This is one chic way to
show some skin without being overtly sexy.
If sexy is what you're going for, though, take a
page from Kendall Jenner's style book. Her down-
to-there v-neck turns the trend into a perfect
girls' night out option.
Always ahead of the pack, Solange Knowles
copped the trend back in October in a sweater
and matching snood by Ryan Roche. While we
love coordinating accessories, feel free to take
the easy route with a sweater that has the scarf
attached.
Similarly to Selena Gomez, Emily Ratajkowski was
spotted just last week accessorizing her button
down shirt with a skinny scarf. Instead of buying
two pieces though, opt for a casual neck-tie blouse
to achieve the same look. Just cross the two ends
of the tie around the front of your neck and knot
the ends at the back.
