Motofumi Kogi, better known throughout the
fashion realm as Poggy, has embarked on yet
another collaboration that suits his eclectic style
perfectly.
Seemingly a match made in heaven, the NYC-based premium headphone brand Master & Dynamic has also been on a bit of a collaboration kick as of late, and this latest pairing looks to be one of their best. During the aptly named Poggy's World event, this custom hand-painted variant of the Master & Dynamic MH40 over-ear headphones will be limited to only 20 units and sold via United Arrows & Sons in Japan with a retail price of $550.
Master & Dynamic hasn't been in business all that
long, yet their headphones continue to garner huge praise from both audiophiles and style geeks alike for their sturdy construction and top-notch sound quality. In a market that's already saturated with big-box brands who all have monstrous R&D budgets, Master & Dynamic has emerged triumphantly as having built the best-sounding wireless headphones on the market, according to a recent review by Wired .
From a design standpoint, both their over-ear and on-ear options are stylish while staying somewhat minimal. Most importantly, the brand focuses on the use of high-quality leathers and machined stainless steel, rather than the less-durable plastics that are far too common in the headphone world.
